Sport Jacket Double Breasted Navy Wool Hopsack

Made by hand in Italy, our jackets feature hand made lapels, armholes, collars, linings and buttonholes, with a full and floating canvas. Constructed with a subtle spalla camicia sleeve head as part of an entirely un-padded shoulder, with unfinished sleeves to be altered to your specifications. Our double breasted jackets feature a straight lapel tapering gently into a curved mitred closure, giving a distinctive thickness and presence to the lapel.

For this jacket we used a dry hopsack from Italy, an excellent option for the transitional season. In contrast with our own development, this fabric is a mock leno, made with a more open weave, mesh construction. Stripping away both formality and a touch of weight, the chunky, dry yarn pairs well with high-twist trousers and denim alike, forming the cornerstone of more casual ensembles. Cold and saturated, this is a classic navy.
