Sport Jacket Deconstructed Wool Jersey Brown Glen Plaid
Our deconstructed sports jackets are soft, adaptable, and casual — yet with enough formality to be worn in environments that demand authentic tailoring. The sister piece to the exploded hopsack jacket, our new jersey jacket is made using the same technique, with reduced canvas in the chest but kept through the lapel. This balance allows us to remain true to our love of tailoring, handmade where it counts in the armholes, collars, linings and buttonholes.
The jersey was spun and produced by our primary knitwear yarn maker in Biella, and is a dead ringer for the cloth we've become known for — textured, matte with an approach to pattern that is both classic and wearable. The difference being that jersey is more casual, durable and forgiving for travel and the most casual of situations. The cold brown glen plaid check is as relevant paired with a light wash denim shirt, dark selvedge jeans and loafers as with a knitted tie and flannels. It's our most casual piece of tailoring to date, and should tick all the boxes for when a sports jacket is the absolute ceiling of formality required.
Made in Italy with a subtle spalla camicia sleeve head as part of an entirely un-padded, broad shoulder, with unfinished sleeves to be altered to your specifications.
