Raglan Sleeve Overcoat Wool Brown Glen Plaid Blue Overcheck
Our raglan sleeve overcoat has a more formal centre of gravity than today's typical balmacaan. We had the fabric woven to our liking in Scotland, designing fabrics that combine a dense yet sleek hand in a range of city-friendly tones. As usual, we've chosen a matte finish with minimal press and a hint of texture, to ensure the cloth is as versatile as possible and veers away from the more rustic appearance that such coats can possess. A cold chocolate coloured yarn is crossed with a subtle sage green to create a wearable brown glen plaid, contrasted by the royal blue and sky blue overchecks.
The roomy nature of the raglan silhouette is ideal for seasonal layering, allowing for an elegant combination over suits and jackets, with enough character to make sense with denim and informal trousers on the weekend. Featuring a raglan shoulder and below-the-knee length, this is the more casual cousin of our ever popular Martingala coat.
