Moto Jacket Waxed Cotton Olive
We've reworked the iconic motorcycle jacket, our take on transporting a heritage piece of British outerwear from the country roads into the city. Intended for pedestrian use, this raglan sleeve, belted coat was cut with a proper length to cover sports jackets whilst giving a sleek yet voluminous look. The cloth is a blend of 20% recycled yarns stripped from discarded denim and traditional cotton, enabling us to give the depth and texture one would expect of the waxed garments of yesteryear to contemporary pieces.
Woven and waxed in the UK with a rich olive tone, the fabric offers excellent protection against wind and rain. The jacket will bloom with patina and a worn-in look over time, while the suede collar and plump appearance of the wax gives presence to this iconic silhouette.
The tall stand collar has a double-faced throat latch to match the corduroy lining and torso, whilst the four oversized pockets have press studs for ease of use. Ideal worn from Autumn to Spring, layered over tailoring or knitwear and paired with moleskin trousers or denim.
