Double Breasted Martingala Coat Charcoal Melange
The Martingala Coat is the flagship of Anglo-Italian's winter outerwear. Worn over dark suits, textured sports jackets, knitwear or denim, it stands stalwart against England's cold and wet weather.
The patch flap pockets, turn-back cuffs, heavy lapped seams, half belt and action back balance formality with practicality, while the broad shoulder, nipped waist and correct length make for a truly classic coat. It is constructed with a full canvas, and the buttonholes, linings, armholes and collar are all worked by hand. A wonderful piece of tailoring.
Made in Italy from a dense 25oz charcoal wool twill woven in Huddersfield, it is thick enough for sub-zero temperatures without compromising ease of movement. Mélange yarns give the charcoal life, with a depth and variation a flat grey often lacks.

Delivery and returns
We strive to ship orders received on a weekday before 12pm (GMT) on the same day. All orders are shipped on a tracked express courier service.
US Customers will now have shipments sent Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). This means we take care of any customs fees, duties and taxes incurred by the shipment, and the final price paid at checkout is the total amount you will pay.
EU Customers also have shipments sent DDP. Customers in the rest of the world are responsible for any import duties or taxes.
Our dedicated returns portal is a straightforward way for both international and domestic customers to generate return shipping labels, the cost of which is minused from any refund. Exchanges are shipped free of charge.
