Tailoring lies at the core of Anglo-Italian, representing a mix of the craft, history and culture which means so much to us.
We make tailoring the Italian way, both in terms of quality and our jacket’s softness. Whether ready-to-wear or made-to-measure, garments are all made under the same roof, utilizing exactly the same process. What differs is the level of adjustments possible and the cloth options available.
Most importantly, our jacket is made by hand where it counts, in the armhole, collar, linings and buttonholes, with a full and floating canvas. Sewn in the west of Tuscany, where the handwriting of our pattern can be best translated into jackets that are soft but clean and refined but characterful.
Made in Italy by people we have the utmost respect for, whose speciality has survived thanks to generations of received knowledge and a dedication to craft.
Made-To-Measure
MTM allows for multiple deviations from our standard block, addressing a client's individual quirks of posture and build. Adapted to accommodate them at pattern level, with each customer receiving their own unique pattern to be re-visited for future commissions or adapted further as their body changes.
Cut & sewn in Italy, fully canvassed with handmade armholes, collar, linings and buttonholes. MTM trousers and shirts also account for postural changes and wide disparity between measurements that put individuals beyond the reach of MTO and our range of house blocks and base sizes.
Available in store, at trunk shows and remotely to clients with existing patterns. ETA 8 Weeks.
