We’ve been working on a short that is summer friendly, contemporary and comfortable but which stays true to our vision of a wardrobe rooted in classicism. We started with the fabric, a garment washed cotton-linen blend that keeps the wearer cool and allows for the short to be worn in a multitude of settings.

The shorts feature a 4cm cuff, double track stitching wherever viable and most importantly a grown on waistband. This is a technique where the garment is made in one piece with stitching used to emulate the look of a waistband, whilst removing the bulk and fussiness that comes with the usual construction of more tailored shorts.

A higher rise, flat fronts and belt loops allow these to be worn however you wish, with loafers and linen shirts or a polo and boat shoes. Presented in a true navy tone.
